MUKES is an antifungal used to treat various infections caused by fungi (such as Candida), including cryptococcal meningitis, coccidioidomycosis, bloodstream or organ infections, mucosal candidiasis (mouth, throat), genital candidiasis, and skin or nail infections. It can also be used to prevent the recurrence of some of these infections or to prevent Candida infections in people with weakened immune systems.
