Esmeron is a muscle relaxant used in general anesthesia to facilitate the insertion of a tube into the trachea (endotracheal intubation) during surgical procedures, allowing for artificial respiration. It is used in both adults and pediatric patients (from full-term neonates to adolescents) and, in adults, also in Intensive Care Units.
