This medicine belongs to the benzodiazepine class and is used by adults and adolescents (over 12 years old) as a sedative before minor or major surgical procedures or extensive examinations, and for those suffering from severe phobias or tension who cannot take tablets. It can also be used by adults, adolescents, children, and infants (from 1 month of age) for the control of status epilepticus.
