Alymsys is used for the treatment of several types of cancer in adults, including colorectal cancer (colon or rectum), metastatic breast cancer, advanced non-small cell lung cancer, advanced renal cancer, ovarian cancer (advanced-stage epithelial, Fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal), and cervical cancer.

Dosage form: solution for infusion, concentrate

It is used in adults to prevent serious complications caused by bone metastases (such as fractures or the need for surgery/radiotherapy) and to treat giant cell bone tumor in adults and adolescents whose bones have stopped growing.

Dosage form: solution for injection

ATC: M05BX04

It is used to treat osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and in men at increased risk of fractures. It is also indicated for bone loss in men due to reduced testosterone levels (caused by surgery or therapy for prostate cancer) and for bone loss caused by long-term glucocorticoid treatment in patients at risk of fracture.
