This medicinal product is an antifungal used to treat various infections caused by fungi (such as Candida), including cryptococcal meningitis, coccidioidomycosis, and infections of the skin, nails, mouth, throat, and genital area. It can also be used to prevent the recurrence of some of these infections or to prevent Candida infections in people with a weakened immune system.
