It is used for the local treatment of skin diseases (dermatoses) caused by allergies or inflammations that present infections or the risk of contracting them. It is indicated for several conditions such as eczema (atopic, infantile, or nummular), anogenital pruritus or in the elderly, contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, radiation dermatitis, stasis or exfoliative dermatitis, neurodermatitis, intertrigo, solar erythema, and psoriasis.
