It is used for the treatment of osteosarcoma (a type of bone cancer) in children, adolescents, and young adults between 2 and 30 years of age. It is administered after surgery to remove the tumor and together with chemotherapy to eliminate remaining cancer cells and reduce the risk of recurrence.
