    It is used to treat symptomatic stable angina pectoris in adults with a heart rate greater than or equal to 70 beats per minute who cannot take or do not tolerate beta-blockers. It is also indicated for chronic heart failure in adults with a heart rate greater than or equal to 75 beats per minute, in association with conventional therapy.
