It is an anticancer medicine used to treat adults with a type of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with specific genetic characteristics (ALK or ROS1). It is also indicated for children and adolescents with anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) or inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) with ALK gene defects.
